tbh i think what should happen in the show (since it takes place some time after the “og” interview, so in theory lestat had time to come back and reconcile with louis in that time) is that during one of the interview sessions, preferably when louis is going off on a tangent about how fucked up lestat is, lestat should just casually drop in saying something like “don’t mind me i just left my sweater here lol. how’s it going babe. okay okay i’m leaving i’ll be in the bedroom if you need me 🙄” and then louis goes back to his rant, while daniel is sitting there like uhm excuse me what the fuck.
