sO many thoughts about that moment when xiao xingchen smiles while xue yang is threatening the potato merchant - like okay you could say that xxc doesn’t know exactly what’s going on but he knows he was just rudely sent away when the seller refused to give him any potatoes and then suddenly xy is calling him back and like… what other conclusion is he going to draw from that he understands his friend did SOMETHING to get the guy to give him all these vegetables… and he just… smiles… smiling away while xy holds a knife up to the guy… so many… so many thoughts….
