No fucking way. I remember when that happened. Good god, there were gofundmes and everything. People worked on her “final” book for free, so it could be published, not to mention the pitty-buy sales drives so her kids would have “something to live off of.” Like people grieved. What an awful thing to do. I hope she gets the proper help she needs to realize why what she did was terrible.
And yet it seems like people are buying her stuff expecting it to be unhinged and wild, and yet if I recall, her work was just kind of… fine. Things I never bothered to leave reviews on because I didn’t want to be mean.
