while screen grabbing zhaoxie scenes i noticed this thing zhao jing does that could (maybe) be easily missed on a first watch: the absolutely salacious, unchaste, CARNAL looks he gives xie’er in ep. 16. just keep your eyes on his eyes and see how they roam xie’er. his chest, neck, lips. the shoulder/upper arm grasp as well. gao chong just died, the plan to conquer the martial arts world is going accordingly, he is so happy and power horny and it shows! then at the end xie’er fixes his robes (out of frame but you can still kinda see) like the dutiful son~~wife~~ that he is. and it’s such a small, sweet gesture, intimate. the way they smile at each other! their scenes are always so sexually/emotionally charged. and we know they knew what they were doing. it’s sick! going mental over here!!
