“At what?”
“Redirecting. By being charming.”
Lan Xichen can’t keep himself from smiling. “Are you charmed, A-Yao?”
Jin Guangyao tilts his head up to Lan Xichen. “If I was?”
Lan Xichen’s heart skips a beat. This is new. This is old. This is familiar. He swallows. “I was unaware that Jin Guangyao could be charmed.”
Jin Guangyao pulls back enough to fully turn to Lan Xichen and smiles. His real smile. “He can be. Under the right circumstances.”
Lan Xichen’s gaze falls on his lips and his head spins. “And those circumstances…would be..?”
