Citlali Haro (Mexican, 1991) - A veces la locura es un sueño, una huida. Otras veces es realidad regresar. (2022)

A stunning jade sculpture with rich lavender highlights mottled with sea green coloration. A natural form sceptor is hidden amongst intertwined roots, peach blossoms & a large Chinese raddish. The elongated sceptor fits into a curved root form wooden base furthering the homage to nature.

A gigantic pomegranate in the Little and Lewis sculpture garden; flanking the sculpture is the glaucus foliage of honey bush (Meliathus major), bold leaves of a banana (Musa), bronze foliage and yellow flowers of Lysimachia ciliata ‘Purpurea’, and scarlet flowers of Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’.
