I am taking this book so seriously.
Obsessed with how Daniel doesn't wonder what it's like to trust a vampire that much or how having teeth in your throat could feel so good or what it would be like give part of himself so intimately to Louis. He's wondering what Armand tastes like. In Daniel's head he's already the vampire.
it’s so fucking funny because you could argue the question about his weight is actual journalistic curiosity as to why this guy isn’t even dizzy from the blood loss but there’s no saving face with the taste one. and of course it’s the first thing louis brings up. and i know i mention it all the time but my favorite part of this scene is actually when armand says the ’i wouldn’t let you near my neck’ bit and daniel, without looking away from him, grabs his tea cup and brings it halfway to his mouth before he realizes it’s empty. normal behavior from a normal guy having a normal time.
