let’s face it: casual audience of iwtv knows about claudia dying but most of them knows because they have watched the movie or read the first book but 90% of them didn’t go further into the vc books and stopped there but most of them know that armand could have prevented it and didn’t and claudia died in the sun. so imagine the shock, the horror, the disgust when they see that armand tortured and beheaded claudia beforehand and it is FROM THE BOOKS? i’m not joking when i say this scene, when it happens, is going to be wildly controversial and one of the most awful/horrific scenes of the show to date. it’s going to make people talk. it’s going to put the show back on the radar. it reveals so much of armand’s character and what and who he is. they can NOT include it in s2. we are not ready.
