some journalist: wow it was Very brave of you to come out of the closet with this brilliant vampire novel, and now that it's public knowledge that you have Parkinson's, this book starts to REALLY come together! it's also brilliant how you employ Louis as an unreliable narrator to showcase your own unwillingness to acknowledge aspects of your own identity. how did you come up with that?
