Headcanon that there's a lot of talk about what caused Miriel's death back when she dies, but that mostly fades away over time, though never completely. There's a small spike when Finwe and Indis get married but not a lot, because then people are mostly curious about the novelty of an elf remarrying.
But when Indis delivers her first child and is 100% fine? Oh, the hottest gossip in Tirion becomes "What was wrong with Miriel? Because we now know it's not Finwe's fault she died, so she was obviously defective in some way" with some passionate subsets debating rather "Can we talk about how this proves Feanor specifically killed his mother? Everybody knows he's Too Much and now we have proof of it"
Feanor of course takes this as well as you'd imagine
