Louis just applies a veneer of morality to things he already wants to do lol he doesn’t behave morally ever. He lives to punish himself and pretends only eating rats and cats is about morals and not just having an eating disorder. He wants to kill the alderman for personal revenge but says it was for his people. He wants to feel fulfilled and have a family so he asks lestat to turn claudia, pretending it’s about saving her. Louis lives in his head so it’s easy for him to apply moral reasoning to things he already wants to do. And that’s why he’s my specialest little liar ❤️
