Everyone gon be gooped and gagged when they find out Louis begged Armand to 'censor' his memories because he couldn't live with his repugnant actions, grief and regret...just like he consented to becoming a vampire. Louis has wretched taste in men and does not think ahead when making decisions and is always looking to place blame. Finally the narrative is allowing us to take this man to task (affectionate)!

Being full of over 100 years of memories (many of them bad bad bad) with no end in sight must be absolutely terrifying, I get why he would seek an escape 😭

His relationship with Armand will probably be the equivalent of him choosing to be heavily medicated and in a straitjacket. While Armand spoon feeds him soft foods and gives him sponge baths. It's no long term way to live but it is keeping him from harming himself.
