I really love Ling Wen’s relationship with Xie Lian because she sees him more clearly than anyone except Hua Cheng. She recognizes that Xie Lian can be as ruthless as he is kind, that he moves with grace because he is skilled at swordplay as well as gentleness. She never forgets Xie Lian ascended because of his sword.
