people give jiang cheng a hard time just because he “makes terrible choices always” and “is an immature asshole” but honestly if you were the youngest child AND emotionally the middle child in a family that taught you people can only love one thing at a time, and your parents died without ever telling you that they were proud of you, and your big brother (who is better than you athletically & academically & socially & morally) had to come pick you up from your own self-sacrificial kidnapping and then apparently would rather die alone in a cave than let you protect him because you are just that bad at it, and then it turns out every success you ever thought you’d managed to wring out of yourself was actually a result of someone else’s power and someone else’s sacrifice, and also this whole time you have no friends, i am just saying but if that happened to me i think i would also yell a lot and kick furniture and commit a few mild atrocities, to cope.
